LOUISE FRANCES SMITH

My work is an exploration into abandoned detritus in our landscape where nature and the man-made combine to create strange forms. We see something familiar that also seems to have taken on a life of its own, allowing the viewer to bring their own emotions and memories to the work. I play with the fragility and strength of clay through different surface textures and combining clay with other materials.
